Handling of formalities at the country of destination for going abroad
When you check out from the hotel, please set aside sufficient time to leave for the airport of destination.
If you will take an international flight, please arrive at the airport 2 hours before the taking-off of a plane.
The procedure to handle formalities of going abroad is the same as that applicable to the handling of formalities of going abroad from Japan.

Formalities for entry into Japan
Arrive at Japan
Please go to the counter of entry formalities upon the arrival at Japan.

Entry examination
Please go to the entry examination counter specially applicable to Japanese people, show your passport and accept examination.
↓
Claim baggage
Please claim your own baggage at the conveyor where there is a board on which your flight is prompted.

Quarantine
If quarantine is required, please go to the quarantine counter for acceptance of inspection.

Customs examination
If the scope of tax exemption is not exceeded, please go to the green counter. In case of excess (or if you are not sure about the existence of excess) of such scope, please accept the inspection at the red counter.
In addition to the excess of scope of tax exemption, you also have to be subject to inspection of Customs if otherwise leaving your things at the checkroom.
Please show the [Report on Carried Belongings· Unaccompanied Baggage] at the red counter.

Arrive at the exit
Please exchange your remaining money, at the bank or currency exchange of the airport.
If your gifts or baggage are overweight, you may use the baggage door-to-door service at the airport, which will provide more conveniences to you.
